Basic to £110K + Bonus + Benefits, London

This global investment bank, having successfully navigated the recent market upheavals, requires a senior risk manager to manage the risk for their Exotic FX trading business and lead a team of VPs and Analysts. 

The role will involve ensuring daily risk monitoring of trading positions and regular risk reviews with senior management.   You will also produce risk & stress test data and introduce new methodologies as appropriate and liaise with support areas including: Limit setting, Finance, Credit Risk & Treasury, etc.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years in  risk management
• Team management skills
• Strong financial markets product experience including Exotic FX Derivatives
• Strong technical background
• Strong communication skills
• Expertise in: Stress Testing, Economic Capital, & VAR, etc.
• Track record of improving risk environments
• Excellent science-based academic background

DESIRABLE:

• Trading experience will be advantageous but not essential
